Okay so what do you guys think about this. I am pondering over just changing the icon to a different color that's easier to see on the map at a glance. I made these up and want to find out which you would prefer.

@quinion - That was originally the plan. Until it became apparent that it takes around 3 hours to bake the mod, which really is just a change in a single image. It shouldn't take that long but uinfortunately that's how Unreal works. I'll see what I can do but I am not comfortable making any promises.

OK, cool, the postion is right on the mark. Now I recall you were going to have other colors as an option, is that still true? I'm voting for a bright red or an orange that stands out, right now the player icon looks just like one of the map icons with a hat on it. :)

Updated and uploaded. You should all have an update queued or downloaded in your Downloads. As far as I can tell, the position bugs are fixed. Had several people test it out and no one was showing the wrong coords.
