"Here is the second and most recent artwork that I commissioned from the amazing MyCKs!
I give you an infamous character from Elder Scrolls lore, the one who proclaimed the start of the Second Era and assumed the throne of the Second Empire, the Akaviri Potentate Versidue-Shaie.
Descriptions of the Tsaesci race vary largely, but the most common description is that they had the upper bodies of men and lower bodies of serpents. This vampiric race is said to be covered in golden scales, but this description is largely based on speculation. Thus, here you have my interpretation of a Tsaesci, but not just any Tsaesci. Versidue-Shaie served the Reman Dynasty until the assassination of Emperor Reman III at the end of the First Era. Afterwards, Versidue proclaimed the start of the Second Era and assumed the throne as..."acting" emperor. He is The Serpent King, the one who ordered the constuction of The Rose atop the ruins of Blackrose. In my eyes, this is what The Serpent King looks like.
MyCks-san did an incredible job with this piece. She took all of these vague ideas and details I spewed at her and transformed them into the exact image I had in my head. It was almost like she reached through my computer screen and into my head to pull the image right out and plop it onto her sketch sheet. She truly is an amazing artist. But if you want to see more of her amazing work, go and check out her gallery on Deviantart! You won't regret it!
The calligraphy on this piece reads "Emperor".

Tamriel is a supercontinent. Akavir is another supercontinent. If you google it, I’m sure you’ll find some lore on the land of Akavir.

The more I wonder the lore of Nirn and how the Aedra created it in the ffirst place. it just gets more stupid confusing. |:/

So... Is Tamriel a big ol' Pangea, and the Tseasci are living on a big, remote island at the complete other side of Nirn, and they just haven't discovered it yet?

Tsaesci aren’t extinct. They’re not natives to Tamriel. They invaded Tamriel in the First Era. Emperor Reman I stopped them and the Akaviri became the original Dragonguard. Versidue was the Potentate to Emperor Reman II or III(forget which) until the Emperor’s assassination. So, the Second Empire was ruled by this snake for a few centuries until his own assassination. The Tsaesci were effectively forced off of Tamriel and returned to their home continent of Akavir after the assassination of Versidue’s son and all of his heirs. So, they’re not extinct...Bethesda just refuses to change pace and start fresh by telling the story of Akavir. They’re too busy being lovey dovey with Tamrielic races, specifically man and mer races.

Well now I know that there's 3 extinct species in Tamriel. Snow Elves, who became Falmer. Dwemer, and now SNAKES!? or... um... "Tsaesci"? Ok now im just getting more confused when I fathom more into it
