Description
Adds cloning vats to the game. These serve as a spawn point on death. Requires recombined organic matter to construct and power after each respawn. If a clone isn't ready at the time of death you'll return to the original respawn point.

The doesn't really do anything once FF is complete. This would be better posted on the mod request thread though rather than as a random comment on another unrelated mod.

can you make a mod that lets you dig up the C5 pls?
i'm done with it and what it gone. it now just being a big problem

Yeah, if you could select than they would be slightly OP as they curently are, you could mitigate that by forcing a cooldown between changing spawn locations as wellas between respawning and changing the respawn point, but i imagine that would get somwat dificult to implement, as well as adding a few other issues. not to mention the dificulty of actualy implementing the interface in the first place.

I dont think so, if you can balance the vats cost and the cable cost (or whatever it is to connect between them) then you dont have to worry.

If I did that they'd basically become cheap teleporters. I don't see a way to make that work without adding an appropriately high energy cost to balance it out.

I think it's best to leave it where you spawn at the nearest or for you to plan ahead and have to select your vat before heading off to wherever.

Could you make some sort of interface so that if multiple cloning vats are created, the player can select one to be ingected while still alive, that way if you know you are going to be exploaring in the toxic caves and not the surface you can chose the vat in toxic caverns, but if you decid ou want to respawn on the surface nex time you die you can chose a vat on the surface or the default spawn?

The way I handle respawning is a bit of a hack. I inject the spawn point so that it gets used when the player dies. If the vat is out of service then it restores the player spawn point. There's just no way of injecting into the game script that controls respawning to add a UI for choosing a spawn location.

@GG Grizzlybear. Maybe, but then why not just use teleporters? No fuel requirement and cheap to make. Makes more sense since you're running power there anyway.

oh i see, is it a limitation with the game or the mod api or somthing? ive seen them do it like the way your cloning vats work in a minecraft mod but thats not made with unity, its made with lwjgl so idk
