Description
This Mod brings you a bunch of Fonts for use with the LCD/Textpanels

Currently contains 17! Fonts



I've included everything you need to make your own Fonts with 1 (double)click.

-BMFontGen.exe generates the Font Graphic
-options.txt contains a couple of default settings, you dont need to adjust anything in here
-fake.png contains the 2 chars that are required in every Font but not every Font out there contains them.
Those 2 chars (or rather Symbols) are embedded into every generated Font Graphic and FontData.xml, otherwise the Game crashes.
-run.bat is just a simple batch file which contains one command: BmFontGen -optfile options.txt
Doubleclick this file and select your Font in the following Dialog, set the Fontsize to whatever you want, i recommend 36, you can not go larger then 50

Hmmm, was about to ask if it was still working after the update to lcd images, but Lyle has answered it.
@Lyle, you shouold note when other LCD related mods/scripts you use for debug purposes.

not sure what is going on but every time I have tried to use one of these fonts on my lcd panels the game crashes to desktop.

I successfully compiled my own fontpackage. But how do you get this .dds file that seems unreadable for various texture editing tools? And 2. parts of the letters seem to be cut off a little too much in width (about two pixels). Do you have an idea what could cause this?

aw man, it does not seem to have the converter tools anymore.. I found the bmfontgen but no idea how to make it work without the run.bat

@lotw_1 that's not up to him, that's up to MMaster to implement. And I'd doubt he'd do that for 16+ fonts, it's a lot of work to figure out how the font scales for the custom displays.

Needs to be updated so that it works with LCD Automation 2. Fonts are not scaling right.
