ASSR Odinochka 1-E Explorer

The Odinochka is a medium tactical dropship employed by the ASSR for various rolls that would not be able to be fullfilled by more standard, higher capacity dropships.

For a dropship of it's size the Odinochka has a relatively small interior and can only carry a limited amount of troops. For this reason, the Odinochka 1-D is intended for tactical deployments of elite troops rather than large invasions. Equipped with gatling turrets and rocket launchers it is well defended, and it contains a self contained jump drive for long distance missions. It also has an inbuilt hangar and a rear cargo mount for carrying large ground vehicles/supplies to the ground. This last feature has proved to set the Odinochka apart, and has enabled it's use in small numbers in large scale deployments as a vehicle lander / anti-air platform.

Due to the versitile nature of the ship, the chassis was used as a base for other vessels for performing different tasks.

The Odinochka 1-E is the explorer varient of the dropship and is designed to scout out fringe worlds for enemy pressence and/or resources. The varient contains many alterations, such as a remodeled more contained front interior, wall mounted medical bay accesable with mag boots for space saving, and an ore detector. The standard loadout for this ship also includes a long scafolding tower extending from the rear docking port which has 4 deployable bouye's. These are intended to be released at locations of interest and contain antenna's, ore detectors and solar recharging capability. The scaffolding can be cut in half, and it is recomended that only 2 bouyes are to be decended into a planets atmosphere.
