@neil cavutotops: Sounds like you're subscribed to the buildings only and not the props. Check the collection to see what you're subscribed to and what you're missing.

I'm getting a bunch of pavement and not much else any idea why?

@Toruk_makto1 You beat me to it. That is a great list of container companies that represents what I see here in the Chicago area. I liked Avanya's answer to that.

Matt Crux, former Shroomblaze has made a container series offering some of what you mentioned in that list as prop and models and trucks.

@toruk_makto1: I have no plans for real companies, but once I'm done with all the models I do plan on releasing them as templates so others can make the brands they desire. That way I can also get more than containers done this year. ;)

I've got plans to add truck and rail cars with these containers, but that's it for the near future at least. I've got tons of ideas myself for things to make, so I'm trying not to get caught up in containers too much. ;)

If you want to try your hand at modelling I'll recommend visiting simtropolis.com - there's a nice collection of guides and lots of helpful people to give feedback! :)

Will you make models of actual named companies like Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd, Hanjin, Cosco, Evergreen, APL, MOL, China Shipping, DHL, ITALIA, Hamburg SUD, MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company), Triton, CSX

I really love realism and seeing these plaed and or moving (rail or truck or ship) would just be fantastic.

Are you considering getting into truck or rail vehicle assets? I've got some ideas for those as well.

I know I know I have ideas but no ability. This is true. Perhaps in time I can learn what you know.

@gravage: Feel free to send some pictures my way - if there are some large brands not covered by bsquicklehausen and me, then it's something I'll look into. I took a look at the 20 largest container shipping companies and based most of my brands on them, which doesn't really include any American companies it seems. Bsquicklehausen has a few American based companies (pack 4), but there could still be some important ones missing. :)

Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing. I am surprised that I don't recognize any of these container companies nor do I see any in your your recent collections that I see here in Chicago , , though other authors have created them so I expect you are just avoiding unnecessary duplication. I haul containers for a living in and out of several of the Chicago area rail yards and just figured that all containers were shipped internationally and that any I see here you would see in Europe and vice versa. I guess not all companies ship overseas. It's cool to see something different.
