Torchlight + Lovelight

Description
Two modified versions of the Candlelight and Magelight Spells!

Shadows, different colours, 120 sec duration.

Can be bought from Tolfdir at the college or just type in into the console "help torchlight/lovelight" and you'll get the ID's

Beware: it's my first ever mod at my first ever attempt to create anything out of a Creation Kit-like Tool; so yeah, there you go! And I also apologize for the stupidity of my video, heh.

The Torchlight is a modified version of the Candlelight: It's a bit darker creates a yellowish light instead of the glaring blue of the candlelight. Also it does create shadows whereas Candlelight doesn't. (Best noticable at the shadow of the player himself). It's actually called Torchlight because I intended to replace the hovering light with a hovering flame but kinda haven't yet figured out how to. (Anyone has an idea, please PM me, thx alot :D )

The Lovelight is a modified version of the Magelight: It's actually pretty stupid, as you will notice with the sound, but I kinda stumbled on the idea to make it as I tried out different things with the Kit. Also it somehow doesn't work when stuck onto surfaces like the Magelight, (anyone know the problem?), but it works when stuck onto people which kinda goes with what the spell is supposed to do lol

Things yet to do or rather yet to figure out how to do:

- Different projectiles/hovering objects: Flame for Torchlight, Something Pink for Lovelight
- Different light colours, easily switchable

Please give me feedback or suggestions in the comments below. :D

1. Update: Nothing fancy, just some added effects (Lovelight: red glow on target, Torchlight: flashing effect on use)
2. Update: Lovelight Sound effect isn't anymore used for Bats, (had to make own Sound Description in the Audio Category for those who want to know) has own Sound Effect now, not used together with any other Sounds

haha fair enough, I will keep trying. It's strange how Torchlight only emits light if Candlelight is active when it is cast (Cast Candlight --> Cast Torchlight --> Candlelight expires --> Torchlight stays activated). Since I've never modded anything ever, I'm even less help but I will keep trying, thanks for the info.

Hmm... I'm no connaisseur of mods and how they interact with each other but as far as the ENB goes it should work; I'm pretty sure I've used one in the past with my mod. Unfortunately I don't know any mods in particular that would stop mine from working.

Basically, my mod doesn't do alot other than replacing the light that emits from the original Candlelight spell with another type of light - if that other type of light is somehow modified by another mod, it could be the reason why it won't work...

Also, I just downloaded the mod myself from the Workshop and it still seems to be working.
So... I'm sorry that I can't be of much help, hope you can figure it out :)

any idea what could be causing it not to work? I can cast it, but it doesn't light up anything around me. I'll cast Candlelight while it's active and it lights up properly, and once in a while after Candlelight goes out Torchlight will still work. Do you know of any mods that could clash with this? I love the idea behind this, hope I can get it to work. does this work properly with an ENB?

ive been searching. the torchlight with its blue is nice for any mage or good char. but i want a red evil one for my bad char ;o

Thumbs up for the music on Lovelight, for the shadows, etc. As entertheratking said, too bad it isn't toggleable, but eh, a sneak SHOULD be patient.

Thanks for making this. I wanted something exactly like this! It'd be amazing if you could change it to look more like a flame, though. That's purely cosmetic, however!

One thing I can't figure out with all these "improved light spell" mods is not a single one has offered the ability to DESUMMON the orb. It almost makes it boring to be a sneak character and have to wait around every time you want to enter a room or else be blind throughout most of the dungeon.

I love Torchlight. Much better color and brightness compared to Candlelight. I wish the Lovelight sound effect lasted longer! Cuts off right when it gets good hahaha. Great mod.
