EarthLike No Ore Spots

Description
This planet is a direct copy of the EarthLink planet definition but includes texture files that have been edited to remove the ore spots. Ore deposits still exist but you'll have to try a little harder to find them.

They just need to make base survival more competitive on planets. Or planet only mode

Hey The Govenor lol. I suspect that the map/world file structures have changed enough to cause the mod to no longer work.

@Greyson XMG, In SP or MP? The image file change is pretty straightforward but only works client side. There are 6 files in the Planet's texture directory, (up/down/left/right/foward/backward)_add.png. If those files are pure black, no ore spots. This would work for any "EarthLike" world you look at as long as it isn't modded.

To do it on an existing MP world would require bootstrapping my EarthLikeNoOreSpots planet name into the existing file. The name of the world definition is in the SANDBOX_0_0_0_.sbs file, not the Sandbox.sbc so you would need to use a tool like SEToolbox to edit the world file. I tried to edit a save using SEToolbox and unfortunately that tool doesn't support that change. There might be other tools available that could swap out the world definition.

Is it possible to remove ore spots from an existing planet?
