Description
Want to turn back time to an easier time in life? A time where things were simplier and you didn't have much to worry about? This item is for you! This item prevents any monster from becoming a champion by turning any champion into its normal counterpart. Say goodbye to the worries of beefy HP foes, or monsters that blow up in your face! You baby.

Note: This item does not prevent champion bosses. This is intentional.

Note 2: This item is intended to be a trinket, but as custom trinkets currently don't drop (to my knowledge), it is temporarily made into a passive item. Can be found in Treasure and Shop item pools for now. Let me know if you think an item like this is better suited as a trinket or an item!

Note 3: as of 03/24/2017 it is now a trinket that drops regularly in-game.

Known issues:
- Sometimes you can still see a champion enemy spawn in when you enter a room before it turns into its normal counterpart. This is because the item simply checks for champions in the room rather than change their generation, which seems impossible at the moment.

Credit to ep for the sprite and the coding!

Be sure to report any bugs you may find!

There is also a trinket mod called Swallowed Trinkets

I think there is because I saw a trinket mod of a hairpin type thing.

I agree. Anyone know if there's a way to make custom trinkets drop naturally yet?

This is way better as a trinket, because it is a little over powered as a passive item in my opinion

It would be funny if there was a small (maybe like 0.25) damage downgrade as well.

@Ashkait, we'll turn it into a trinket as soon as we learn how to edit trinket pools

The sprite is really nice! As a trinket its got a cool effect. But for a item, I'd suggest it also carrying a stat upgrade, maybe luck! That is, if its not a trinket permanently.
