(Interesting note: The first three years of LT and two of MM use the then-patented technique of celluloid (a.k.a. "cels") for animation of each frame, the "Bray-Hurd patents" as they were called.)

If proof about how it's "Looney Tunes", not "Toons" is desired, check this YouTube video out, which has opening and closing titles from 1930 to 1969.

Merrie Melodies was originally created as sorta the forerunner of music vids, only for the Tin Pan Alley era. Its start came in 1931, a year after Looney Tunes debuted.

No it's not, Looney Tunes is a rip off of "Silly Symphonies". That's why there's music and shit in most of them. There's also "Merrie Melodies".

The word "toon" doesn't even show up anywhere until the 80s as a shortening of "cartoon".

Take that weak-ass conspiracy shit outta here.

its looney toons not tunes tunes is music toons is short for cartoons its a understandable mistake due to the mandela effect.
