Remember that show The Rat Patrol? Probably not. I do, but that's because I'm old and used to watch reruns of it after school back when we only had 5 channels. It was a WW2 show about four guys who rode around the desert in jeeps and ambushed German Afrika Korps guys. One of the guys wore a cowboy hat and smoked a cigar. It was stupid but I liked it.

Thing is, the Desert Rats were British, and they only had one British guy in The Rat Patrol, so folks in the U.K. were rightfully pissed. They ended up pulling it off the air over there, and it didn't last much longer here in the States. I think there were like 30 episodes or something. Also no one wore a hat like this. But they should have.

After this show was over the original Star Trek came on. Star Trek was great. Man...

So yeah, this hat is that.
