Atlas Heavy Transport

Onyx Shipyards proudly presents the Atlas, a heavy freighter meant to move goods around the Galaxy. She's a workhorse for the Royal Merchant Marine Corps. Onyx Shipyards have also begun construction on the Tempest, a Royal Navy battlecruiser built on the Atlas' frame, so be on the lookout for that coming soon!

I'm so very happy with how she's built. She's got a keel and frame of heavy armor but most of her hull is light armor, so she's rigid but efficient. She's a bit slow on the help, being a heavy hauler and all.

Be sure and stock up on hydrogen and of course disable your inertial dampers so you can coast along.

I had a lot of fun making this little beauty. I hope you enjoy it too! The Atlas is a near complete vanilla build, only requiring a letters mod, which isn't imperative to its operation. She's survival ready, but not really survival practical. I haven't tested her in Atmo, as that isn't her primary purpose.
