Melee Aiming

Descrizione
Changes the standard (left click) attacks of broadswords and hammers to aim towards the cursor, instead of only horizontally left or right.

Note: secondary (right click) attacks are unaffected.

This mod will affect other mods' broadswords and hammers as long as those weapons use the vanilla broadswordcombo/hammersmash abilities; it does not (and will not) affect any modded broadsword/hammer combos. This mod may be incompatible with other mods that alter or replace vanilla broadsword and hammer abilities.

have you personally observed any modded weapons that break with this mod installed?

i have yet to encounter such an occurrence, but that doesn't mean it won't ever happen

Eheh, yeah I realized that after someone else properly explained it to me

I guess with the way it was worded, my mind went "ah yes, this mod must certainly have DRM in it!" I may not be an idiot with computers, but man, sometimes words really mess me up! So apologies for the misunderstanding!

The mod doesn't have DRM. I don't think it's even possible to do that in a mod? It just means it's for non-Steam versions of SB that can't use the workshop. Steam is DRM, even if you don't usually think of it that way.

It feels really weird to me to have DRM in a mod that just aims to make a couple types of melee weapons more useable, seeing as DRM is not a good thing for games

Genuine question: Why does this mod even have DRM in it to begin with? And seeing as there's a version of this mod that DOESN'T have DRM in it, then why not upload that version? Why make a second one with DRM in it, which as far as I know isn't a good thing to have at all?

Would it be possible to make a patch of this for extended story's more special weapons? I adore this mod, and not having it on some weapons makes me not want to use them.
