U.S.S. Caelian NCC-92127 (Star Trek Vesta Class)

Description
In 2380, a new advanced class of starship entered the ranks of the Federation fleet. Equipped with an experimental quantum slipstream drive, the Vesta class could go a top speed of warp 9.999997359835618 for 12 hours (with a 7 hour cool down). Intended as a multi-mission explorer and a test-bed for multiple experimental technologies, the Vesta class starships bore the namesakes of the hills of the ancient Earth city of Rome. Most well known among these starships in service is the USS Aventine captained by Ezri Dax. The USS Caelian is a (non-canon) ship of the class laid down in 2395.

This Empyrion replica is not identical to the one in the ST universe. While the sillhouette is a near-perfect match and the exterior bears a striking resemblance the the USS Aventine, it is a superficial resemblance only. Unfortunely due to game engine limitations, creating a full scale model is effectively impossible. However, this model has as many decks as I can cram in there. Contains decks A-I.

This isn't entirely finished yet, there are locations on some decks that are blank and some hallways lack lights. But all major areas of the ship are complete. Also, I don't leave huge areas of the ship empty. Most rooms have furnishings and walls are painted (for the most part.) I hate big ships with hollow interiors. I will be periodically updating this as I finish it. 30 hrs work on the exterior, 70 hrs (and counting...) on the interior.

Here are the locations of the major ship systems and locations:
Deck A: Bridge, Captain's quarters, officers' quarters, guest suite
B: Enlisted quarters, mess hall
C: turbolift network, access to cargo bays
D: Security, Armory, the brig, the computer core, shooting range, D Forward (lounge)
E: Mass drivers (engines), Sickbay, Holodecks 1 & 2, Arboretum, Stellar Cartography, Observation deck
F: Engineering F (warp core and quantum slipstream drive)
G: Engineering G
H: Engineering H
I: Engineering I

Currently no weapons. Looks prettier. I will upload a version with weapons soon.
Also, this isn't necessarily meant for PvP. I will have to add armor and weapons to convert this for PvP.

Pronounced "SEE-lee-uhn" (or "KAY-lee-uhn" if you want the classical Latin pronunciation)

EDIT (1/31/2018): As of right now I have no plans to update this but that could change in the future.

Hey do you have a link to the ship shown in the 3rd image? The one with 4 nacelles?

Will do brother. Thanks for allowing me to do so.

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for your kind points. Yes, they are meant to simulate turbolifts. If you would like to update this and re-upload it, that would be fine with me just provide credit. I am probably not going to play this game anytime soon.

That is just a first passover of the ship. Second look will be checking out blocks that can be altered to have a more smooth appearance on the hull now that we have a few more shapes to use. Then deciding if it can smoothly place some of the retractable weaponry within the hull itself to give the appearance of (for lack of better representation of phaser arrays) phase cannons a la Enterprise Era.

The ship is rather well build and beautiful inside and out. Absolutely a beast of a well done build. I do have to ask if the corridors with elevator blocks going sideways was strictly to simulate turbolift passages, or was put to help alleviate the stamina drain from running through the ship?

P.S. The Vesta class was my main ship in STO. As a Science fielding Captain myself in STO I have to see this beauty stay up to date. lol.

I have subscribed to the file here. I loaded it and started looking at the model. As is, it is still loadable and usable once one realizes that only the seat with the console moves it. lol. (guilty of not realizing). I am still exploring it a bit to see what you put where, but I'm stripping out the ammo containers and trying to alter the size class a wee bit by pulling out some deco items I thought could be removed, as well as some of the older boxes(aka ammo boxes) because the newer system allows constructors to pull from crate controllers for input and output to another set of crate controllers.

How do you propose I do that? I suppose I could find the file and upload it to Google Drive or something.

would you consider allowing one of us to do an overhaul of the base model and upload for current version of Empyrion 10 with the shields and retractable weapons?
