Yeah, I get what you're saying. I just didn't want you to think I was essentially "stealing" your coaster design by working on it. After all, this all sparked from a question I asked about insane coaster challenges.

I'll be happy to consider it as "our project" from this point on. I'm also happy to help design one of the largest coasters (if not the largest coaster) in the game!

You aren't taking over in the sense of "dominating me without permission". You are continuing an abandoned project. In that sense you are "taking the flame" or "taking on the cause for public entertainment".

Also, at this point, the work you are doing makes it a "joint project". A combined artistic vision. As such it is "our project". You have taken on the safety concerns of the paying public with knowledge you have gained thru experience. (Knowledge I lack right now.)

So, please don't feel that you have done anything but contribute.

An analogy (not necessarily my strong point) - Musically I have given you a mixed track and you are the mastering engineer or ReMix producer. Probably mastering engineer is the better choice because you're doing the subtle work to bring out the nuances making the mix "pop" (not in terms of genre but feel).

Does that make sense to you? Analogy and metaphor aren't my strongest suits ;)

Dude, please know I am in no way trying to takeover your creation. If I finish the modified coaster and upload it to the Workshop, I'll definitely give you credit for the base design. It's still your coaster in my eyes. :)

Can't remember how long it took to build to be fair. Possibly three or four coffees? Concentration on music exams in preparation for teaching, so I have a lack of gaming time and my brain is focussed on other matters.

As for uploading to your workshop. It's only fair as you have done the work to make it rideable, that you put it up on your workshop page with attribution of your work. I wouldn't feel comfortable otherwise. Maybe one day I can get the landscaping and scenery suitable for a theme park and remove my WIP.

Gotcha. I've managed to make about 5min of it fairly ridable (based on g-force guidelines). I'm up to the first set of vertical twists. I'm trying to keep it as in tact as possible 'cause it looks like you've spent some serious time making it what it is now. The part I've modified so far has some really good ratings! :)

WIP refers to the rest of the ride to be fair. Also the editing to make it actually ride like a real coaster while regulating E/F/N to turn it profitable. Then there are scenery concerns, triggers and animations etc to make it more "realistic".

It was built around mounds and hills with light chases and Lazer shows. None of that saved with the blueprint and the theme park it was in has been deleted.

Glad you are enjoying he challenge. Please feel free to add it to your workshop page when you have finished.

Lol How is it WIP? It's complete, 25 minute long coaster. What else could you possibly add to it? xD

And I'm only editing cuz it's a fun challenge (for me anyway).

Wow, JC, I was joking to be fair! Glad you like it though. The only reason it's been WIP for so long is because my focus changed in the game after my massive break from it. Real life and stuff got in the way, as it is want to do.

Thank you for trying it. It was built to beat a task and then abandoned. But your forum conversation reminded me of it and then why. I really should get back on it this week.

This coaster is pretty cool! I'm actually attempting to make a survivable edit of it (since you said you had faith in me and all in the other thread :) It's not quite as hard as I thought. So far I've managed to make the first 3-ish minutes ridable.

Lol. Yeah, it's a beast. Ok suggest getting a snack and a drink before riding this one, contrary to official and rational coaster doctrine.
