Play The World Extended Vanilla

Description
This map is based on the well known Yet Another Giant Earth Map from Gedemon in 180x94 and wouldn't have been possible without his hard work in converting Genghis Kai's GEM for Civ5.

I have tried to make the continents more atlas-friendly, but with a blend of eyecandy, good playability and balance of the proportions of the world's land masses. I have spread the resources manually. All natural wonders to date are on the map, as well as true start locations for all included civs.

The map comes in 4 different flavours: There is a separate one for each game pace option, allowing you to choose whatever game speed you like, as it cannot be changed in one scenario.

Although there is more space in Europe, if you like to start there it is recommended that you open the following directory to alter the minimum distance between your cities: " x:\programs (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization v\Assets\gameplay\XML". Now open the GlobalDefines.xml per text editor and change the parameter "MIN_CITY_RANGE" to a lower value.

Note: You should at least have 4 GB of RAM and a quadcore to play this map! This is the vanilla version.

Installation:

Just click subscribe (the green button).

Playing the map:

Once you're in the game go to Main Menu - Mods - Activate mod - Next - Single Player - set up game not Main Menu - Single Player - set up game. Choose the map (and respectively game pace) from the drop down menue.

IMPORTANT: To avoid that random civilizations, starting positions and resources appear in your game (for instance China in Europe) or if you start at the wrong place it is essential that you click the following button after choosing the map in the game setup screen, in order to have all the game elements as intended:

Now select your Civ and difficulty level. Done.

Playable Civs:

France
England
Denmark (DLC)
Germany
Spain (DLC)
Rome
Russia
Greece
Ottoman Empire
Arabia
Persia
Egypt
Songhai
India
Siam
China
Korea (DLC)
Japan
Iroquois
America
Aztecs
Inca (DLC)

Known issues:

Workshop problems
If the map doesn't show up in your mod list, just delete the game cache in username\documents\\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache and restart the game. I hope that this will be fixed soon.

Strange Civs in your game
If you do not own one or more of the DLCs listed above, the game fills their gap with random civilizations. So you might encounter Babylon in Korea or Siam in South America.

I can only start these scenarios in "marathon". Even if I choose other speeds in the game setup. Can I change that?

Ich kann diese Szenarien nur in Marathon starten. Auch wenn ich andere Geschwindigkeiten im Spiel Setup wähle. Kann ich das iwie ändern??
