Extreme Races 1.1

Description
Never mind the small 25% and 50% race bonuses, I changed them to 125% and 250%. Also the 25% and 50% penalty is now a 50% and 80% penalty. Let the smart be 250% smart, the strong be 250% strong, the weak be 50% weak, and the stupid be 50% stupid.
Population Growth, Food from Population, Production from Population, Credits from Population, Beam Defense, Beam Attack all have 250%, 125% and -50% options. Population Growth also has a -80% option. Command Points has +20%, +40% & +60%. Ground units marine training bonus = 250%. Assimilation power = -0.5, 0.5 & 1. Espionage & counter espionage: -0.3, 0.3, 0.6. Trade Treaty & Trade Goods bonus = 125%. Diplomacy = -0.6, 0.6.
Extreme Races differs from Very Different Races in that it adds different startup technologies listed below.

Some costs have been increased.

The final effect (as best as I can calculate it) on the races are:
Alkari:
- ship attack = 225%
- ship defense = 350%
Extreme Tech: Fusion Beam & Neutron Blasters

Bulrathi:
- ground combat = 350%
Extreme Tech: Atmospheric Renewer, Destroyer & Troop Transports

Darlok:
- espionage = 160%
- counter espionage = 160%
- assimilation power = 150%
Extreme Tech: Xeno Diplomacy, Spy Center & Espionage Training Facility

Humans:
- diplomacy = 160%
- trade treaty = 225%
- trade goods = 225%
- counter espionage = 70%
Extreme Tech: Government Building, Xeno Diplomacy & Colonial Revenue Services

Klackon:
- production = 225%
research = 50%
- food = 350%
Extreme Tech: Automated Factory, Hydroponic Farm & Subterranean Farms

Meklar:
- production = 225%
Extreme Tech: Automated Factory, Electronic Computer & Automated Repair Unit

Mrrshan:
- ground units marine training = 250%
- ground combat = 350%
- diplomacy = 160%
Extreme Tech: Hydroponic Farm, Destroyer, Xeno Diplomacy

Psilon:
- research = 350%
- counter espionage = 70%
Extreme Tech: Automated Factories, Research Laboratories & Gravity Generators

Sakkra:
- research = 50%
- population growth = 350%
- diplomacy = 40%
Extreme Tech: (Unchanged)

Silicoids:
- diplomacy = 40%
Extreme Tech: Automated Factory, Deep Scanner & Electronic Computer

Terran:
- ground units marine training = 250%
- command points = 140%
- ship attack = 225%
Extreme Tech: Automated Factory, Electronic Computer & Destroyer

I mean use the vanilla ratios but increase magnitude for both cost. Reward penalty and bonus points

Just keep the point ratios the same. So if it costs 6 points for 50% then 150% should cost 18 points. Same thing for penalties

F.Y.I. I have written two similar mods:
1. Very Different Races – has the 250% bonuses, but does not have any custom starting technologies for each race.
2. Extreme Races – has both the 250% bonuses and the custom starting technologies.
There are 2 mods, because the initial mods update didn’t allow updating mods, but I understand that I can now. I am currently only planning to update Extreme Races for DLC, and therefore the lower 3x bonuses, but if there are 2 groups of fans, we can do something different with the Very Different Races mod Please let me know your thoughts! :-)

Hello Extremer’s! I need your Help! :-)
You are the ones playing this, without you there is no reason for me to write these mods, so I would like to hear from everyone.
I am writing my DLC update and based on feedback I am thinking of doing some changes. So the 5x 125% and 250% bonuses sound too big for some people, so I was thinking of lowering them to 3x bonuses of 75% & 150%. Also, for those playing custom races, I was thinking of doubling the cost of the 3x perks, and tripling the refund of the 2x handicaps.
If this is going to ruin the game for you, I want to hear from you specifically. If you don’t want to post a message here, please send me a private message.

could be interesting. that said what the game truly lacks is "Cheated" enemy races that use more points than possible ala moo2 - uinless the impossible mode has that already?

That sounds like a good idea. I had avoided the points before, because I haven't played custom races, but it is something to think about. So... Do I raise the points for the bonuses?

like -99% population growth but wtih +20 points etc
