A lush Persia

Description
This mod changes the texture of the Persis and Spahan regions of the campaign map to allign with the other regions of Iran and Mesopotamia instead of being inaccurately shown as a desert. Persia, susiana and the neigbouring regions are in reality quite lush and fertile, at times barren but as often full of fields and woods. Even more so before the middle ages, it is no coincidence that the Fars region produced not just one, but two dynasties wich came to dominate their part of the world.

@Lion my dude it was, all of it was lush greenery (not forests obviously) but a massive amount of it burned for good after the mongol invasion (though the dashte kavir and dashte loot were more or less barren deserts)

Needs to be a bit more sparse in the midwestern region, around Spahan. It isnt THAT green in Esfahan, or any of the areas around it. Certain places are, sure, but its still a lot of dry land. Certainly not desert, though.

I would download this, but it contrast the region between Eufrat and Tigris too much, to the point that it actually looks less fertile, which shouldnt be the case. Could you boost the vegetation in there a bit too so the contrast isnt so sharp?

Is this a startpos mod?

I would prefer the lusher version, since Persia is actually quite fertile. Needless to say, I agree with Osterreich, does this alter the attrition? If so, great, if not..... well try to make it alter the attrition for the spring and fall.
