Generic information:

Role playing game changes for primitive/medieval setting. Additional items and game mechanisms. Adds more opportunities to, and also forces, players to co-operate and get into conflicts.

For starting and setting up, you need a fresh server, single player game is not supported (and probably does not work).

Some of the new stuff:
  • Player skills, learned by doing.
  • Player specialization via roles.
  • Player alignment (good-neutral-evil), altered by players actions, checked in various places.
  • Player artifact alignment, changes the way artifacts affect player.
  • Cannibalism.
  • Vampirism.
  • Player operated religions.
  • New diseases, resources, structures, tools, weapons, armor, food, potions, poisons, etc.
  • Server global events.
  • NPCs.

Some of the player related changes:
  • Real underwear, that goes under your armor and provides additional insulation, and partial nudity (no added details).
  • Player spawns protected from wild life attacks for 30 seconds.
  • Unrestricted alcohol drinking, and you can pass out too. Gain alcohol tolerance, and you can pass out later.
  • Players loose half of their experience points when they die, respawning with 1 health and 0 hair.
  • No fast travelling via beds.
  • Healing below 80% of max health happens very slowly.
  • Food no longer heals, other items and consumables can be used for healing instead.
  • After death recovery period.
  • Player characters age.
  • Every level up player gets free temporary levels to food and water, they are lost when player dies.
  • In addition to pooping, players can also pee.

Some of the creature related changes:
  • Taming has been mostly changed, contains less passive waiting.
  • Limited dino taming, no big mounts, no flying, limited dino inventory item slots.
  • The name of a tamed creature can only be set once.
  • Limited harvesting with tamed creatures.
  • Itchyornis and pegomastax stealing modified: itchyornis steals only raw fish meat, and pegomastax steals only from item slot 0.
  • Deliver letters using a vulture.
  • Tie tames to poles so they stay put.

Structure related changes such as player base system, which can be used to limit the number and size of bases, and/or automatically clean up left over structures.
