This song in my opinion perfectly encapsulates the Counter-Attack. The song suddenly playing as you hear that they're coming to take back control of the area. The song picks up as you panic, trying to fend them off with everything you got. And after you barely fought all of them off, the song went out. Letting yourself time to think and rest for a bit

im waiting for a Armored Core For Answer 2, it was pretty good. didnt like the last one.

Just wait a few more years. I heard FROMSOFT is working on a new one, problem is that they're busy with a bunch of other big projects alongside that.

The feeling and gameplay is very different for each generation.
It's a very good mecha franchise overall with a somewhat in-depth game mechanics and simple enough controls. Could be considered as "easy to play, but hard to master" that is if you want to play online against people who are extremely fast and experienced. If you play for the single player experience that is fine too, there are enemy aces in the story that are fun to duel with.

As for the games themselves Armored Core V and Verdict day, despite people not liking it since it's not as fast and awesome as Armored Core 4 and 4 Answer, are good ones to try if you're new to the series. It's slower, but I think it's also easier to get used to maneuvering the AC. It's enjoyable enough to play in single player story and the gameplay is fairly fun.

Never played the franchise. How is it?

Yes, we do. It's a good franchise and it'd be a shame if they don't make another one.

Man, we need a new Armoured Core game.
