Legends Of The Hidden Chamber

You have roughly three minutes to complete this chamber, countdown is initiated when you press the button at the beginning and is kept by the cube/excursion funnel setup. When the cube reaches the end, the stairs leading to the exit deactivate.

1) Press button, hit ESC right after
2) Load music (link above)
3) Play music and switch back to game as fast as you can.

This one was made more for fun than to make a good map. Look up Legends of the Hidden Temple.

Nice set of puzzles ruined by the timing requirement. Thank goodness for noclip. Moved the timing cube back to the start of the bottom tractor beam. Almost did thumbs down!

Now we know if simple puzzles are improved by adding a time limit.

For the record, the mechanism was made by a friend of mine. I had the original idea, but it used too many resources, so he came up with a more economic one.

I also hate racing with time (although the "mechanism" with funnels, lasers and cube is brilliant), but there is a pleasure of solving (plenty) other puzzles here. Excellent work.

It is still possible to solve the chamber after the three minutes is up and the stairs deactivate. How? I was actually able to use two cubes from the laser room to build "stairs" and jump up to the exit.
