When you spawn monsterspawner by console you will get legendary, not working spawner.

This mod gives you 3 versions of spawner:
Normal - acts as normal monsterspawner, but it works. 5 monsters max.
Interact - spawns monsters when you interact with it. Monsters will spawn everytime you interact.
Wire - you can wire it to something to spawn monsters from distance.

Spawners are avaiable to get from Inventor's Table lvl 3 for 1000 money.
