Description
Please rate this map if you play it.

A detailed(on the inside), claustrophobic Infection map where miners start in a safehouse and must either defend themselves within or break out, find a minegun, and extend their lives by a small margin. Infected must find a way in or get creative and remember there's always a second entrance.

Recommended settings:

AI Zombies with or without max is a welcome addition if you prefer it but keep infection on.

Weapon settings: All off except non-sticky grenades. Keep weapons on map enabled

Time limit: 4-8 minutes

No infinite ammo

<12 players


MAPINFORMATION/TIPS


Map Info:
Skybox - Night
Ambience - Evil
Fall Looping - It's Probably off.
64x64x64 map (small)

Infected Tips:
Crates in walls symbolize "weak spots" that you can break through.

Vents are breakable.

Greenish/yellow flooring symbolize weak spots in the floor or a door.

Snow symbolizes a door.

You can break glass.

There's always another entrance, get creative.


Miner tips:
I recommend you go upstairs into the attic and get a gun or two then go downstairs and into the garage, through the basement ladder and through the drilled entrance to the sewers where you'll find more shotguns which are very useful. I won't spoil the exact location of the mine guns but they're probably in the sewers if anywhere.

If there's 10 players or more a few of you probably won't get a weapon unless each of you only carry one. Blame the weapon limit on maps for this (12 weapons is the limit)

Mine guns should be given to experienced players otherwise you'll probably find them useless but in the hands of someone who knows how to use it, it's the most powerful tool in your arsenal


BACKSTORY/PLAN/SIDENOTES


Backstory: The whole city is pretty much destroyed thanks to an alien spore bombardment which turned most of the population into flesh eating corpses. A group of about 16 survivors fled to a safehouse in the woods cleverly built for this situation a few years ago. They were pretty safe for a few days until one of the more intelligent zombies managed to blow up the watchtower with C4, killed a few people and called a horde to your safehouse.

Your group managed to incapitate the intelligent zombie and PROBABLY killed it. It's been a few minutes and you've put up the window shields on almost all of the windows in the building; some were broken so those are needing to be fixed. You've dug in the front door and rolled down the protective sheets on them. You've hastily brang the drill parts down the into the basement, assembled the drill, and drilled a whole into the wall to get into the sewers you've known about before hand from reading the blue prints.

Once all of this was finished you quickly scaled the ladder back upstairs to grab guns before heading down and you're stopped dead in your tracks by the sounds you hear outside... You don't just hear one of them, it sounds like there's hundreds... Clawing at the walls; looking for a way in.


The plan:
Thankfully, your group had planned before-hand for a situation like this, but it didn't take a horde this big into account. As most of you will probably be in panic mode, and have forgotten all about the plan, the few(if any) who remembered could very well survive (unless the intelligent zombie is still alive)

You'll probably have about 15-30 seconds or less if the intelligent zombie is still alive to get ready and get out.

0.5. Tell your teammates what to do if they don't remember the plan. (if you think you have enough time.)

1. Grab guns, there's some next to the TV, or in the attic. 3-6 guns in total and that's probably not enough so if you're desperate you can try and get outside and grab the BR on Isaiah's corpse(RIP, you were our best, Isaiah).

2. Head to the garage on the first floor, directly in front of you when you get to the bottom of the stairs.

3. There's a ladder to the basement to your left when you get in the garage - descend the ladder.

4. Hope the drill was placed correctly and has made a wide enough hole into the sewers to get through.

4.5. If the hole is not wide enough, then defend it till it is(if there's no sewer on the otherside... Pray.).

5. Get through the hole and into the sewers; find a way out safely. There has to a be a way out. DO NOT USE MAN HOLES, GET THE FARTHEST YOU CAN AWAY FROM THE HOUSE AND DO NOT GO IN THE DIRECTION OF THE CITY UNLESS FORCED, YOU WILL BE SWARMED!!!(The city is towards the side where the watchtower is.).

Side notes:

1. The city/sewer system blue prints that we use are outdated by 11 years so do not put all your trust in the blueprints; there's probably been some changes.


2. Jimmy, Carl, Sheen, and Cindy made their home in the sewers(The entrance is right on the otherside of the fence towards the city.) already and they took one of the mine guns. Wonderful how we can't find OURS when we need it the most probably fell through the toilet or something so it could be in the sewers.


This map was inspired by the first level of Resident Evil: Outbreak, I Am Legend, and my imagination.
