My take on the 1.6 classic, fy_iceworld, with a CS:GO twist!

Set in an icy arena, players must battle it out in heated matches with weapons provided to them. It's a fight between hot and cold. It's CQC extravaganza. It's Iceworld

Keep in mind this is my take on the classic map, and it is no way meant to be a replica of the original.

Well, yes you can, but you'd be missing out on many new/ great ideas. Ideas not seen on other Iceworld maps. I think that mine has new aspects that can put this simple map on a whole new level (Literally!), among many other things.


Don't worry, most of the guns are placed how they were in the original map.
(I say most because some guns, like the TMP and MP5 are obviously not in CS GO, so I had to substitute the weapons with weapons I thought deserved a spot.)
Plus, I added some other CS GO guns that I thought that should be in the map (Yay, more guns!).
Also, there are some extra nades placed around the map.


Besides the whole "CSGO-ifying" thing, I added a bit of altitude to the map, giving players a sense of 3D-ness to a once almost 2 dimensional map, as well as the nades around the map. A couple props here and there, and BAM , you got Iceworld_Reincarnate.


Currently, it's best to set the gamemode to "Competitive" or "Casual" for X vs X. As for how many people, me and my beta testers have gone up to 3v3, but the map supports up to 10 people per team (Although that'd be a bit hectic)
Full deathmatch compatibility is coming up, but you can try it out for yourself and see how that goes
Gun game mode is probably supported, but I'm not sure about the guns on the ground and how that'd affect gameplay.
A custom gamemode for easier X vs X is coming up!

Ideal teams would be up to 5v5, but more can be played.


Besides the fact that this map is dE Be$+ m@p ever!!!!eleven!!! lol kidding , the lamp is bangable, the walls only with AWP and Scout, there are some cheeky spots if you look hard enough, and yes, there are smoke grenades somewhere on the map.


Then why are you checking out a remake of the map? :v
