(4 - 6) Orsha

Campaign port. Original by Relic.

After their defeat in the Battle of Smolensk, in the Summer of 1943, the Wehrmacht retreated on a broad front to the Panther-Stellung line. The German 4th Army part of Army Group Centre took defensive positions near Orsha. The Orsha offensives were a series of battles, fought between the Red Army and the Wehrmacht during the late Fall of 1943. Orsha was a main traffic junction with the north-south road from Leningrad to Kiev and the east-west road from Minsk to Moscow.


All credits go to the Devs. I ported and converted the map over to MP, cleaning up campaign scripts and other bits while designing balanced VP and CP layouts as well as on many occasions changing terrain and buildings to create a fun experience.

This map release is part of a COLLECTION of historical relevant campaign maps.

While not necessarily this particular one, many of the Maps I upload were chosen to be converted with my UNTERNEHMEN BARBAROSSA in mind, basically to provide the fitting background. Give it a try if you'd like to play something more historical.

Best played with the Immersion UI Win Condition / Game Modes pack, reducing the UI clutter. Also incorporated with Unternehmen Barbarossa to provide additional era options (41-43).
