Updated for version 1.4.0. Also removed the magic resistance of imperial gyrocopters. Still trying to figure out how to remove the magic resistance.

I flubbed up in the last update. When I was modding main_units table I forgot to change land_unit section to equivalent units. So I ended up using the dwarven version of the gyrocopters instead of the ones for this mod. I fixed that.

The mod is updated for version 1.5.0. Magic resistance of imperial gyrocopters is removed for real.


Basically, I couldn't see a way to circumvent the requirements other than to remove them, and I was in no mood to remove them, because it would greatly unbalance the game. So I have to make them separate units (same all but in name).

Adds gyrocopters to the Empire for custom battles and campaign mode. They have the same stats as their dwarven counterparts except Empire ones do not have magic resistance.

Definitely NOT lore friendly. Let's just say the Empire got the copters from the dwarves.

Should be compatible with mods editing projectiles, since they use the same munitions as their dwarven counterparts.

NOT compatible with the (now deprecated) old Gyros for Empire mod as they both uses the same namespace.

i love this mod its so awesome to have this for the empire. Please could you add more gyros per unit and buff the damage a little? Again GREAT MOD, love it !!

Are you sure? The mod still works fine. Make sure you have tested every single mod alone. Maybe it is a combination of several mods that crash the game.

so with the micro patch this morning this mod is the only one of mine to stop working and will cause the game to crash on startup, anyone else having this issue?

btw it is loreful for the empire to have gyros considering dwarf mercenaries or general trading agreements between dwarves and the empire. Its definitely possible lore wise.

CA changed main_units table and well, it made my mod incompatible.

not sure why but im getting a crash out of this now. maybe since i started using lorehammer.
