Description
You're operating a freight service from Miramas to Nice. You are about to pass Marseille, but an unexpected event disturbs your journey.

DIFFICULTY: Easy
DURATION: 10 minutes
CONSIST: BR266 MegaFret

~~~~~~~~~~~~
I know this is a German loco on a French route, but I wanted to do something with the non-LGV part of the route (which I think is the most beautiful part of the route). Since there is no French rolling stock except the TGV, I needed something else. Class 66 engines are used in France, so this was closest to reality as I could get.
This is my second scenario, so I'm still learning and experimenting. I hope you like it, even though this scenario may be a tad simple.
If you just want to edit your local copy, that's fine. I'm not sure it's a good idea to reupload it to the workshop though. Might make things more complicated for the users/players.
Pumo,
Thanks, I will edit the speeds then with your permission ?
No, the error is certainly within the scenario. This was one of my first scenarios and I made a newbie-mistake by setting the speed for a "go via" objective too high, which results in the player passing the objective at a too low speed and thus not meeting the requirements for that objective. I did not consider this bug to be serious enough to go to hassle of uploading an updated scenarios. Workshop scenarios cannot be updated as far as I know, so the only solution would be to upload a new scenario and hiding the old one from public.
Barrie,
Just noticed your post. I had the same problem, but I think it is a problem with the route rather tyhan the scenario. Try just waiting for well over a minute. When I did that the game eventually "un froze".
Very interesting scenario. Good to have a French non TGV scenario in the Workshop. I had the same troubles as LPmitRobin, in that I got "Scenario Incomplete", probably also due to the passing task speed values.
You could have used an EWS liveried Class 66 instead of the BR266, as "Euro Cargo Rail" use these in Southern France in original EWS livery apart from their own branding and a new small warning panel at the ends.
If you plan any more French workshop scenarios, I have done a few "French" repaints of DTG published stock over on Railsim.fr...https://www.railsim-fr.com/forum/index.php?/files/ ( search for springer6 ). These would be allowed on the Workshop and are probably fine for AI at the least.
Thanks for sharing your work.
Short and interesting scenario! The only big problem was that I couldn't complete the ‘passing tasks’ because you entered the value ‘100mph’. I changed them for myself to ‘1mph’, which solved the problem.
HI, thanks for your work! If you want you can find a french route here http://www.railsim-fr.com/forum/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=1017
I got a major stutter at that place but I'm certain it's nothing you did. It's probably the route loading something large. Well done :)
Odd, I playtested the scenario and didn't run in any errors/crashes. I wouldn't know what causes such an error.
Enjoying the scenario until approaching the speed reduction to 60mph game locked up completely. The only way I could get anything to work was by Ctrl/Alt/Delete. Sorry.
