does this work on thrown items, or do i need hexblade for that?

Nope thats no problem I didn't realize it was an on-hit proc, hence why I was wonder why it wasn't on the char sheet. I'm very happy how it procs, Thumbs Up!!! :)

Each level adds a 20 percent chance to activate an on-hit effect of of 3+.2 per savvy (Except mana drain, which drains 20 mana and removes invisibility). Since it's an on-hit effect, it doesn't apply in the character sheet. I thought a constant buff would be a bit overpowered, but if it's too weak, I'm not opposed to making it proc more often, do more damage, or scale higher.

This is quite a nice mod, there isn't many ranged skills so this is quite a nice addition, I think the levels scale pretty well.

Only thing is I'm having trouble seeing how much elemental damage each level adds as it doesn't appear on the ranged damage on the character sheet, wondering if this is a bug?

Oh, that's a good point. I copied most of the code from my hexblade mod, which was a warrior skill, so I must have forgotten to change warrior to rogue. I'll fix it later today. Anyone notice any balance issues while I'm fixing stuff anyway?

Wouldn't this be better suited as a rogue skill instead of warrior?

You can either make it a .zip file and publish it through the -publisher command line, or you can add the mod.xml along with whatever other .xml files you have to the mod folder in my documents to test it without publishing, and it doesn't need to be a DAT file. Try this for more info http://community.gaslampgames.com/threads/dod-modding-and-mod-installation-guide-updated-6-5-2012.1335/

Does it have to be a DAT file? If so, how do I do that?
MrMeows 14 Jun, 2012 @ 12:46pm
Is it just supposed to be in the Dungeons of Dredmor folder or should it be in subscribed...?

Well, to publish a mod, you have to add in the -publisher command line to the steam shortcut, or if you want to test it, you can go to the gaslamp games folder in My Documents and put the mod folder there. XML can also be really picky about its capitalization, so you might have missed something. It wouldn't let me publish for a while because I wrote resistbuff instead of resistBuff, so it might be that.
