Archide - Carrier Class (X-Rebirth)

Description
I am proudly releasing the new Carrier Class. The Archide.

Equipped with 7 Gatling Turrets on each nassels (14 total on nassels), 14 Gatling Turrets and 2 Missiles in front of the ship, 2 Gun MK 1 on Top of the ship, 1 Gun MK 3 under the ship, 8 Missiles Turrets in the back of the ship, The Archide "shreds" enemies on fly-by.

Where 2 Military Transports attacked The Archide simultaneously, The Archide took minimum damage while the 2 Military Transports was left drifting in pieces (Screenshot on last picture).

The Archide is longer than a large asteroid and Its complement of 14 Advanced fighter/bomber make The Archide a mighty adversary. To date, it took over 12 million KG of iron ore to build the components required to build the Archide.

This ship was inspired from the game X-Rebirth.

Mods used on this model were used only to maintain model coherence to the original ship (i.e you don't want to see 20 thrusters on each side). I really tried to stay vanilla as much as I could.

And as always, this model was built entirely in survivor WITH thruster damage enabled. Therefore, rest sure that playing survival with this model (or any of my models) won't give you any unnecessary headache.

The ship has a lot of room to expand with new ideas. i.e. Refineries and assemblers can be fitted in the nassels (Or elsewhere), the back of the ship can be fitted to drop land vehicle in planetary landing... Personalize it your way.

Tips:
-There are 4 doors under each nassels, the 2 outer doors (front and rear) are left empty. Good to expand with piston and landing gears to land on planets.

- The 2 inner doors toward the middle of the nassels opens to 1 large and 2 small hydrogen thrusters. There are mostly needed to provide extra lift for planetary landing/flying. If you turn on ALL thrusters, you will turn on these too, you may want to be careful and open the door or turn off the trhusters from the toolbar. Thruster damage could be enabled in your game, and if so, you will destroy the doors.

NOTE: This ship is very large, so if you're attacking an enemy from the front of the ship, subtract 450m to the distance on the HUD, that will give you the approximate idea of when your turrets (front) will start to shoot.

- Taking out the nassels will not prevent them from shooting. They have their own batteries and containers. They will keep on the fight.

- Cought yourself in an epic battle? No problem, Race down to the battle bridge. This will give you more protection.

well, from what I see, huge ships that used to bring computers to their knees now might play just fine.

Just as an FYI, this ship did cost 24 Million Iron ore, just for the hull.
