Space Invaders

This little game is inspired upon the classic 'space Invaders' is a learning project to get the hang of working with ClickTeam Fusion.
The game represents the first 60+ hours of working with this game engine. The first levels of the game are litterally the first hours of getting my feet wet with this game engine.

I haven't put much effort in the graphics and sounds as I mostly wanted to get the hang of the workflow and logics and learning hot to create game mechanics with the engine. The ships textures I have grabbed from google and then edited them a bit. The music tune originates from Freesound.org and is CC licensed. Almost all the sound and graphic effects I did create myself (quickly made).

As it is just a learning project I did not create many levels. It contains 8 levels with increasing difficulty. The first three levels are easy and fairly boring, but after that the game slowly comes to live and starts to feel more dynamic. Some of the more advanced Invader ships include randomly timed weapon fire and even have immumity against the players weapon till a condition has been met. I also experimented a bit with adding a bonus if you destroy a specific enemy ship. Even though it has just 8 Levels it does require some luck and skills to complete it. The game is a real button smasher so don't play it to long in a row, you don't want RSI.

I did not add a point/score system nor multiple lives. It is completely rougue gameplay, 1 life, 8 levels, and you trying to beat all 8 levels. If you die then you it's game over and you start at level 1 a gain.
