Messerschmitt Bf 109Z Zwilling

The Messerschmitt Bf 109, commonly called the Me 109, is a German World War II fighter aircraft designed by Willy Messerschmitt and Robert Lusser during the early to mid-1930s.

Due to the Messerschmitt Bf 109's versatility and time in service with both the Luftwaffe and other foreign air forces, numerous variants were produced over the eight years of service with the Luftwaffe and even more were produced by its foreign users.

One of the most interesting variant is the Bf 109Z. This experimental aircraft was essentially two Bf 109 airframes joined together by means of a new wing centre section and new tailplane.

I build Z version first, and tried to keep the block count as low as possible, but it already exceed more than 250 due to its bomb in the middle. Kinda dissapointed, I chopped this plane and made it into a normal Bf 109.

The Z version has one bomb in the middle, but not as agile as the normal Bf 109. The pitch also very sensitive.
