(2) Stalingrad Pocket

Campaign port. Original by Relic.

With the Romanian flanks breached and Soviet troops meeting at Kalach, by December 1942 the 6th Army was trapped in Stalingrad. With limited supply by air and rising numbers of enemies pouring into the meatgrinder from the endless manpower resources of the Red Army, the Wehrmacht had to establish a defensive perimeter in the urban environment, fighting for each and every square, street and house.



All credits go to the Devs. I ported and converted the map over to MP, cleaning up campaign scripts and other bits while designing balanced VP and CP layouts.

This map release is part of a COLLECTION of historical relevant campaign maps.

These were chosen with my UNTERNEHMEN BARBAROSSA tuning pack in mind, basically to provide the fitting background. Give it a try if you'd like to play something more historical.

Best played with the IMMERSION UI Win Condition / Game Modes pack, reducing the UI clutter. Also incorporated with Unternehmen Barbarossa to provide additional era options.
