Tired of getting killed with RPG's? Need some good shielding? Here's the (possible) solution! You might take some damage, but overall you *should* be alright. If you do happen to die and cant find your way back in, simply open up the context menu for one of the "shields" and select "Disable Collisions." Crouch through and get in! Just don't forget to re-enable it.
