Description
This mod adds the Baobab Tree to ATS
NOTE: The model used in this mod is originally created by Nikola Kostovski.

Bored of the easy stock trailers? Up for a real nostalgic challenge? This 58 tonnes Baobab Tree is for you.

I primarily keep this mod up to date with current game versions. This includes improvements such as:
- Conversion to a standalone trailer
- Collision and model fixes
- Compatibility with new features such as advanced coupling and company browser

This mod has been tested in all ATS versions that support the Steam Workshop up to and including at least 1.50.

Recovering your vehicle using F7+Enter with this cargo might disintegrate your vehicle.

The reversing lights aren't a problem, i just didn't see them during the day.
They light up at night too. Not brightly, but enough to reverse.:steamthumbsup:

@Buffalo Logistics I can confirm the reversing lights on the trailer appear unusually dim. It's probably caused by this trailer using outdated flares from many years ago. Changing it would require more modelling knowledge than I have now but it could happen eventually. The lights should be functional though.

@𝖔𝖑𝖎𝖜𝖎𝖊𝖗 Is there any related error or warning in the console log? Orders disappearing like this (other than expiring) can happen when the trailer can't spawn in at the depot due to an obstruction. I didn't encounter that issue with this cargo however.

Everytime i select it on the market i get to the company and it isnt there anymore, ive played a diff savegame w only this mod to prove theres no conflict and it truly is this mod.

works good on V 1.50. :steamthumbsup: only the reversing lights don't work, otherwise everything is fine.

Tried an 8x4 and the weight makes the front lift enough that you can't steer.
A 6x4 worked a little better, but not by much.
Works okay in a straight line.

I am wondering if the trailer had 5 axles with a rear steer would help or not.

This thing is the most... annoying trailer I've ever had the displeasure of driving lol. Mod maker. You're doing fine. Corners are just hard for a noob like me.
