Not really. I did find 55 gold on there a couple of weeks back - might've been for the sale? Spent 50 on a 9x multiplier I think it was. That's the first time I've seen any gold. There was a lightning thing on too, giving you a boost as long as you had the game running but I couldn't be bothered with that.

do you play the events? the extra gold gets a bit of boost...played less than you but i'm around 200 units ahead
