A map for the EDITOR. It comes with a mission (called 0.) which places British and German troops in the trenches.

This is my depiction of The Battle of The Somme in the GEM editor. I've used an extensive historical knowledge (basically just watched a few documentaries) to display the Somme as accurately as possible in Battle of Empires.

This week commemorates 100 years after the begining of the Somme.

Notes -

- This plays out so much better with the S̲o̲u̲n̲d̲ a̲n̲d̲ R̲e̲a̲l̲i̲s̲m̲ M̲o̲d̲.

- Send waves of British troops (small trench system) to the Germans stationed in the larger, higher trenches.

-Might lag a bit while looking at the British in their trenches while having their team number selected. Did for me anyway.

When you launch the game through Steam you have the option to launch the editor instead. If not, try reinstalling the whole program, or launch the editor manually through the games files (I think you can do that anyway)

i can find somme in editor but i cannot seem to find the mission

Now that I think of it, I should be a lot more careful about making reccomendations to mod devs. I do it sometimes, but I never actually thought of it very much from their perspective. Will definitely do that in the future.

I know it must take a lot of patience but just bear in mind the majority just literally have no clue. Thats all.

Not everyone is super smart with PC's, just because you know what to do doesnt mean others do or even where to go to find out. I dont think they mean to be annoying, just simply dont know..

You don't really have to like or get along with them, it's okay to be irrational and frustrated/annoyed by people who demand stuff when they don't know what they're talking about, that's just how people act. I respect the effort you're going to put in, though, that can be really difficult.

I'm just trying to be as honest as possible. Maybe disdain implies more of a negative feeling than I mean, but I feel really "ugh" towards them. It's irrational but it's how I feel, I'll definitely try to be less mardy in future
