A couple of years have passed since the serial murder cases in the quiet town of Inaba. The supernatural menace of the shadow TV World has been neutralized, and the events of the incident have been made public. All seemed to be at peace, but a new danger has reared its ugly face, and it’s a threat that is all too familiar.

The Junes Department Store has grown in immense corporate power. Upon the discovery of Inaba as a conduit to the TV world, Junes has begun expanding its brand into this other dimension and schemes to buy out all the local businesses, transforming Inaba and the TV world into Shin Mega Junes.

It’s up to the Investigation Team to protect Inaba’s local culture of grilled steak and ancient inns to make sure every day remains great outside the grasp of Junes.
