A Cheap Fourth of July

Description
You are in charge of this year's fireworks display. Unfortunately, due to budget cutbacks you only have one firework to launch. The firework you do have is a nice one, though--one that goes far into the night sky.

Anyhow, launch the firework.

Very nice red herring puzzle! Not many people know that the twig part of the trapdoor has weight . I did something like this in my latest puzzle:
