Flingin' Goo

Description
My second offering brings you Flingin' Goo, an easy to medium difficulty map. Suggestions, comments and constructive criticism alway welcome.....

Changelog
V1.1 - Moved exit door to clearly show testing subject the exit and what triggers the door. Thanks to zivi7 from thinkingwithportals.com for the suggestion.

V1.2 - Installed glass panel to eliminate an overly obvious way across the void. Thanks to Beard from TWP for showing me the exploit. Also changed the cube drop mechanic to create a more consistent drop.

I really like how you got the gel in the funnel. This map was really good, Beards idea of using the funnel to get across the canal is a good idea, might be worth making the water longer so you are forced to use that trick.

5/5 for me, I enjoyed this a lot. Would you please check out my maps please?

Thanks for the comments Beard and I'll take a look at your solution of just using the blue gel. I think I know what you are referring to and cannot for the life of me believe i missed something so simple.

Fun map - I don't have any complaints at all. I was confused about the gels' purpose: I only used the blue gel to bounce into the funnnel, so the orange was a bit redundant for me. Also, the glass panel was a bit of an unreliable way to get the companion cube into the funnel. Often, the physics would act buggily, and the cube would fly across the room. Sometimes the cube got stuck under the panel too! Maybe an extending piston would be more satisfactory.

Thanks for mapping.

Not overly or intentionally difficlut (ie, standing on a pedistal button to shoot a portal over a fizzler on a wall you can barely see while jumpping). Nice map, the exit is obvious, and the objective is fairly well laid out. 5/5

Thanks again zivi, while testing, I did get that glitch with the cube dropper. I was only able to get it to happen once in about 30 tries from the reset button.

Again, very nice! The exit could be right below the fizzler so that the player can see where the indicator line goes. At some point, the cube/pannel mechanic glitched and the cube was stuck, but I wasn't able to reploduce it afterwards. Well done!
