Not much of a puzzle, and very annoying. The red-herring "faith plate of death" is just plain mean. I was able to complete the map without ever getting to the sphere. I did figure out what it was for, but you don't need it.

Hint: Put a timer on the gel dropper so you can't leave it running while you push the button to get the cube and turn on the water. With both running at the same time and pointed at the same place, enough gel stays on the platform to let the cube bounce out into the room.

Ultimately, thumbs down from me because this isn't much of a map to begin with and it's too easy to bypass the intended solution.
