NPC Death Alert - Slightly Less Annoying Edition

Description
A slightly less annoying version of my NPC death alert mod.

The only difference is that if you were the one to kill a named NPC, a small message will appear in the corner of your screen, instead if the annoying message box.

Obviously incompatible with the normal version of the mod.

If you want to be alerted with the message box even if you were the killer, then download the standard edition here.

Oh ok. I was just wondering if their was a difference between the two death alert mods anyway because it seems like this NPC Death Alert - Slightly Less Annoying Edition as he puts it mod works for me but the other one did not seemed to work at all. I don't know maybe I can try it again meaning it was probably the result of me either not installing the mod into the game property or not activatring it in the mod manager that i'am guessing if that is a manger for mods came with Skyrim or at-less that's what i'am thinking it was.

Yeah, the other one has a message box for any npc death, regardless of the killer (im guessing, id rather not look into it right now)

But then wait if that's so and all it does is just adds a message box to your game then what about the other daeth alert mod this same guy made that is i'am guessing the more Annoying then this one?

Cool I guess that's what I was thinking or what I began to think of after reading what you said more closely. Sorry I must-of wasn't paying attention to the game and what it said in the corner of the screen before I installed the mod.

Yeah.

Again i'am sorry (seriously) but can you maybe repeat that again bcause I mean I see what you said and I think I somewhat got it but am not really sure if I fully understand what you meant by have different wording other than the boxed message. Oh wait nevermind after reading this a second time I think I got it now your basically saying in one way or another all this mod does is adds to the games script by just putting a message box (only) in their telling you the their was a NPC whoever that maybe was murdered?

The main difference (other than the message box) between the 3 messages is the wording, the one where there is no killer says "<npc> has died"
the one where you do the killing says "You killed <npc>"
and where some other npc kills em says "<npc> was killed"

where <npc> is the name of the npc victim.

i'am sorry (seriously) but what 3 messages are you talking about ibecause when I install the death alert mod or at-less this one into my game all I notice is 1 message or 2 messages if you include the action stopping box that appears in the middle of the screen? Not saying this is right or that I have it accurate but as for Lokir, yes he does have a killer or at-less I think the person the imperial soldier that's somewhat behind Hadvar who at the beginning the game is the killer.

Again not sure about that in the sense that I don't want sound wrong and also about the three messages that show (sorry}

Well, looking in the esp, and script source, there is only 3 messages, one for when the death has no killer (such as lokir's scripted death), one for when the player is the killer, and one for when another NPC is the killer. The only one of the 3 that has a message box in the middle of the screen is for that last of the 3.

So yeah.
