Ferrat's Meat Spoiler & Preserver




Mod ID = 701819573

This will spoil meat much faster than any other method of spoiling, spoiling works on a stack only method that is to say if you put one stack in it will spoil meat one at a time from that stack taking around 20 minutes to spoil, if you put 10 stacks in it will spoil the 10 stacks simultaneously, again taking around 20 minutes to spoil all 10 stacks. The spoiled meat will be preserved in the freezer compartment for approximately 1 day before spoiling. But remember without power the spoiling goes back to default.

This machine requires electricity to run.

Item can be renamed, picked up,locked\unlocked or demolished, timers have been added to prevent accidental use.

You must achieve level 55 to learn the engram, it will not cost any engram points. Engram can be found on the player when lvl 55 is reached and engram is learned.

It will take all the following meats......

Raw Meat
Raw Prime Meat
Raw Fish Meat
Raw Prime Fish Meat.
Raw Mutton
Now takes Spoiled Meat for preserving purposes.

Crafting costs are the same as the Icebox..........

Metal Ingot = 120
Polymer = 15
Crystals = 25
Electronics = 10

Change the parts you need to before placing this in your Game.ini file, as such,
change EngramLevelRequirement=55 to whatever lvl you want the engram to appear as available,
change EngramPointsCost=0 to however much you want the mod to cost in engram points,
change EngramHidden=False to make engram visible or not False = Engram is visible,
change RemoveEngramPreReq=False to True if you want to override the pre requisite of the engram (not applicable here).



I made this mod to work in conjunction with my Fertiliser Barrels mod, but decided to keep it as a separate mod for those who do not want to use the barrels.

This is still working perfectly for me, remember you need to power it up with electricity to get it to work.

Updated to the 279.2 patch also made slight changed to the spoiling times, meat will now spoil quicker.

it's all good... i run a cluster...and i am willing to give THIS mod a go hoping you are willing to keep going..once the devkit is released... i truly love the "meat spoiler" IDEA...just cannot stand the fact that the OTHER most popular MOD in this genre has an exploit where pricks on a server can place 15 thousand meat-spoilers outside someone's base and turn on the "out-of-sync music"...thinking it's funny. NO...it is not.... and the music can NOT be turned off...although it is claimed that it can be turned off!!!. sooo annoying..... god-speed getting this one going asap! I'm giving it a go on our cluster. Kudos to you and others dealing with wildcard since aberration...i hear ya!

You may have noticed a total lack of updates to this, this is because of the total lack of support from WildCard, they have not updated the dev kit since game update 268.3 some 5 months ago, so all the newer additions are not available to us modders, Sorry about this but then blame WC not us!

Spoiling times adjusted all meats now spoil in around 1 minute.

They should be spoiled in half the vanilla times, I will take a look when I finish the mod I am working on at the moment.
