I will greatly appreciate any constructive critiscism regarding this map, don't hesitate to tell me what feels right and what feels wrong as well as giving me suggestions. I really want this to be a map the community wants and the only way this can happen is if you guys actually tell me what exactly it is that you want in this map.


-MAP DESCRIPTION-

Zenith is a Blacklight Retribution Community Map made by EnigmaJetMoto (EnigmaticKiller In-game). Although it is made specifically with competitive play in mind, it is also very fun to play casually. It supports all game modes except Onslaught and Siege. It follows a four leaf map layout similar to Counter Strike's competitive maps and it is semi-symmetrical. The original layout borrowed especially from Dust2 but as the map was being ported over to BL:R, it became a lot more like a classic BL:R map. Yep, I actually made it in Hammer (CS:GO's map editor) with no intended theme before porting it over to BL:R, which is what gave me the idea to make it in space. The fact that BL:R, being a futuristic shooter, didn't have a single map located in space always bugged me, and I intend on fixing this!


-LORE-

Zenith is a military/storage base located in space, orbiting the Earth. It has built in atmosphere and gravity generators as well as an electric field which deflects any harmful solar radiation, replicating the conditions of living on Earth. It has a variety of uses. It is normally a surveillance station which houses many scientists who constantly observe and study the Earth's many terrorist organizations, including The Order, but it is a military base as well, housing Blacklight's upmost Elite forces. Only a handful of agents are allowed to get on the station.

In case of an attack, there is a global lockdown button in the base which closes all gates in Zenith, which should successfully trap any enemy forces in a room wherever they are located. Only the central area remains completely open because there are no gates to seperate each of its individual sections.

Although it is mainly used for military and political purposes, it can also serve as storage space. There is a lot of military equipment stored just about everywhere one can look. This is partly because it is a space depot, a place where hardsuits and assault bots are stored and launched down to the Earth whenever an agent calls upon them.
