On the small planet of Orionis lies a kingdom, one that has been blessed for many decades. It's people enjoy lives of peace and prosperity.That same prosperity, however, cannot last forever. It's started to be noticed that the land is slowly going into decline.Harvests are poor, monsters are appearing; the ocean, once teeming with fish, now provides hardly a nibble. Severe storms also plague the kingdom.Many say that the decline is a curse, a curse from the Goddess Xeria whom the late king turned away from.

The story you are about to venture into is one that tells of the kingdom's steady decline, and the hope to save it.
That kingdom... is Sylvant.

Enter Luke, the son of a local farmer, he wishes nothing more than to travel the world and practice his sword technique.His wish is granted one day when a mysterious airship falls from the sky during a storm into the nearby forest. There, he meets a girl named Chara, who tells him that she comes from a tribe of people heard of only in fairy tales. Together, they end up agreeing to help Sylvant's queen thwart her son's participation in dark arts.
This is only the beginning, however, as the party and the player slowly start to find out how deep the threat to Sylvant runs...

-Download size is 900mb. It will go down as the game progress since I'll know what I need, and what I can scrap. Sorry about that right now :/

Hi there, I haven't had the time to work on this project because of school and the such, but I will take your suggestions into consideration! I've have had other mention that certain enemy health was too high. I will fix it to be lower without taking away difficulty in the next patch.

I am liking this game so far, it's just that enemy HPs are extremely high.. I mean slimes with 750 HP is a bit much, causing the battles to drag out for a long time.. You should also add Yanfly Action Sequences so characters can move/jump around..

And the helicopter... There's a deeper story that gets revealed while the player progresses, rather than the generic, "Hey, go gather this stuff and save the world." I just really haven't found a way to convey it in the game synopsis without spoiling anything.

Hey there, thanks for trying it out, as how its a demo, certain music files are just placeholders, but please do realize it will be a mostly RTP game. Sylvant is really a game so I get to learn the engine as I go. I'm also going to add the player's father just giving him the potions in the beginning. Here are also other changes you can expect to see:

- All foliage will have the same passebility consistency between maps.
-Spawn rate in Meadowbrooke Forest will lowered by 10%
-Spider and Hornet monsters in Meadowbrooke Forest will have their Attack power and Defense lowered.
-Hidden items will show a small sparkle animation on the map.
-Rats in the Old Sylvant Aquaduct will have their Attack power lowered slightly.
-Certain NPC dialouge will be fixed.
-Parallax lighting will be added to all current player accessible maps.

You're on the right track right now,but I would say but this game needs polish, balancing, custom grafics (Although it is only a workshop game I'm not expecting too much from there) and some more interesting characters and enemys. Note: I have only played untill I got shreked in the forest.

4: I liked the gui I guess. Not to boring but deffinatly generic.
5: I knew exatly how everything would work but there is little direction for the player.

3: Ok into the forest. Random encounters, great fun, not. I would recommend having either less or nurfed spiders and hornets. If you look at games like pokemon the first route was very simple and easy. Also having 3 spiders using attack while I also use attack and we clatter away at each other for 20 mind numbing turns that are the exat same is not very entertaining. Perhaps give the player an ability to use like a crappy spell or a heavy attack would make it a bit nicer. Also please, please, PLEASE don't use default battle music.

0: Ok intro was ok ish.I liked the title screen background. Mabey have a bit less of a wait after the word "howerver" in the text at the start. And the tick and the logo pop up was kinda anti climactic. (Btw whats up with the helicopter?)
Minor Gripes: I live in this village why does the cook in the pub just call me kid?
Why can't I walk over flowers in the forest?
1: I recommend changing your title music though, playing the default one turned me right off. I see that you have alot of music files so please use them. The title music is very important.
2: There was no indecation until I was out of the house to get the supplys. Unnesesary backtrak wasn't that fun.

From the sceen shots the game looks alright but the story (from what you have written here) is generic. I will give it a try though.
