1: Chrome shotgun, pistol(s).
The chrome shotgun and pistol(s) combination is a great way to clear out commons in my opinion. With tighter spread than the pump shotgun, you are accurate in all of your shots up close. The pistols are a great backup when clearing a room when you run out of ammo in a clip and you have no time to reload. The pistols have great accuracy, great fire rate, a good clip size, and is overall the number 1 pick to roll with next to the deagle when using a tier 1 shotgun. These combinations are deadly as I said and can clear a room in just SECONDS, even while solo.

2: Silenced Uzi, any melee.
The silenced uzi is a great way to pick off infected from a distance without being detected by other nearby infected. The silenced uzi and melee combination is a great stealth loadout. You can kill infected while taking less damage, due to not much attention being drawn to you.

Another reason why this loadout is effective is because you're never in need for ammo. An enemy gets close to you, whip out the melee and kill them instantly, take out your silenced uzi and continue picking off targets from the distance. And most of the time, infected always get close to you, allowing you to freely continue the chapter without worrying about your ammo.

3: Hunting rifle, machete or katana.
This is very similar to the silenced uzi. Just pick off your targets from a great distance and if a couple of infected get too close to you, just take out your melee and finish them off.

The reason why I would pick the machete or katana is because the quick swings are VERY vital to your survival. For example, while you're sniping off common infected and suddenly you hear a horde sound, you would naturally quickly run to your teammates, corner, bathroom, small room, etc. That's where the quick swings come in. If you had like a nitestick in that type of situation, it would still help you, don't get me wrong. However, the machete and katana can clear hordes and areas efficiently and faster.

4: Pump shotgun and axe
The pump shotgun is great in covering your teammates, killing hordes in very close range, and of course, crowning the witches (Crowning is when you use any shotgun and you use it to instantly kill a witch. An effective way in pulling this off is to crouch, walk up closely to her, aim at her chest when she stands up a bit, and pull the trigger).

The axe for me is just simply a great powerhouse backup for the shotgun. They're so similar because they're both so essential in covering your teammates and getting the job done.

Now, on to the tier 2 section.

1: AK-47, katana
A beautiful combination. Instant kills on both weapons to common infecteds, great range, good fire and swing rate, and an all-around perfect loadout to use.

The AK-47 and katana not only eliminates all targets you go after, but it does it so well. Seriously, what can you go wrong with a one shot, one kill rifle and a one swing, multiple kill katana? The swing range is so astonshing because even backed up in a corner, 1 HP, and a horde coming right at you, you can still kill them all because the katana does it all for you. It picks off 4 to 5 infected at a time.

The AK-47's bullet penetration is the same story. One single bullet can kill the target you're aiming at and potentially damage the next one behind it.

Beast loadout in my personal opinion.

2: Tactical shotgun, deagle
Both high damage dealing weapons.

The tactical shotgun is very quick in dealing with specials, tanks, witches, an event run, etc. I usually use this for running and gunning.

When the enemies are way out of your range with the tactical shotgun, have no fear! Just simply take out your deagle and continue the slaughter. Deagle is another weapon that is most of the time for common infected one shot, one kill. Although the fire rate isn't as quick as the tatical shotgun is, or any other gun in the game, it still gets the job done. In fact, it's so good that the deagle can not only be considered as a backup weapon, but as a primary too! It's so effiicient, it's unbelievable. I highly recommend this fantastic loadout.

3: M16, machete, katana, crowbar, or an axe.
The M16 without a doubt has a lot of downsides. Easy to burn the clip and run out of ammo altogether, low damage to targets compared to the other beast weapons, low ammo, etc. However, when put in the right hands, it can surely be a dominating force of weaponry in the game, especially when you have a melee.

An M16 in my point of view is used as a crowd control, just like the spas and tatical shotgun. It does it's job; kill hordes easily in matter of seconds, and that's only due to the lightning fast fire rate!

Equipping either the machete, katana, crowbar, or an axe, it only contributes to the fast takedowns and shutdowns to a horde. With those melees having the strong ability to slice and dice through infected, and the M16 being able to literally mow down hordes in seconds, it outnumbers the downsides of the M16.

4: Spas, pistols.
Pretty much a must to have DUAL pistols to pull off this combination.

As I said for the tatical shotgun, Spas can do many things. Witches, tanks, hordes, special infected, a brutal force for the team, etc. The reason why I pick the pistols over the deagle when pairing it up with the spas is because of the accuracy. It is a fact that the spas has a tighter and better accuracy than the tatical shotgun. The pistols have good accuracy while on the move, standing, walking, or crouching. On the plus side, it has good firerate like I've said previously.
