I don't think the roof is too black. In Europe (where concrete industry buildings are the norm, and nobody builds industry buildings out of red brick.) the majority of flat roofs are coated with tar. (Anything from scyscrapers to warehouses to garages.)
Tar happens to be a very dark black. ;)
Please keep it the way it is. We have enough 'Americanized We've-never-been-to-Europe European' in this game. (Which is ironic, since the devs are Canadian)
One small criticism is that the roof texture is too black and would be much better if it were the same tone as the one you used for the red brick version.
