Save Ratsy and his friends!

Description
Info: Created with version: v1.0.0 (build 1322)
---------------------

Why did you want to kill Gwydion anyway? Because he kidnapped your pet rats Ratsy, Ratpunzel and Ratzig! Gwydion thought he could force you to work for him by threatening your little furry friends and you'll make him regret that. But first you'll have to save your pets.

Note: This is a not-to-be-taken-seriously prequel to the official campaign. Also, I couldn't get a proper "you've won!" setting in the level no matter what I tried so you'll have to use your imagination. If you've found the three rats hidden throughout the level and walk through the backgate, consider yourself victorious!

The original Rivendon Valley was five times the size of this one, but the fps was dropping constantly, there were big empty spaces and there were many bugs.I re-created the level from scratch and made it this small, detailed, semi-open zone instead. Also you always have to aim higher, but better create a smaller level with things you can fix instead of a big, dull and empty space like I did, like you said enough is enough.Just remember that when you make the levels always add a small detail in each one, be it the lightning, rain, snow or the different environment, it helps making the level feel fresh. Also I love how you wrote that short story explaining your objective in the game, you should always try to do that.My point being, even if I have an amount of experience in the editor, I can still create a map wich I do not find entertaining enough to share, so I delete it.It happened a lot in my previous levels. So you shouldn't worry, you'll learn everything,in time. :)

Thanks for your advice and kind words TheraNord. It wasn't talent though, at most beginners luck. One percent inspiration and the rest perspiration. The amount of errors which I couldn't fix or things I didn't know how to do at first were very frustrating, but because I had already sunk so much time into this I refused to quit. I just kept on adding stuff which looked like it could be cool. I wanted to do a lot more, like text which would show up when you entered an area, but enough is enough. I'll leave that for the future.

Now I can finally start playing other people's maps like yours!! I already took a quik look and it's gigantic! I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun! Now that I know how much damn work it is to create something even as small as my map I have a lot of respect for anyone who makes even bigger ones!

A great level!I've encouneterd no bugs and it was very well made.If this is your first project you surely have a talent.A word of advice,if you plan to make another level add a small amount of fog and open the properties of the ColorEffectEntity, that is a scene wide effect that sets the tone of the scene. The Exposure property can be used to change the exposure of the whole scene,or in other words,to make the scene globally darker or lighter. The ColorLookupTexture property can be used to choose a color from the ones created for the game, see wich one suits the best your level and the environment you've created. You can also add a SunDirectionalLightEntity, that is a global type of DirectionalLightEntity wich works like a sun, obviously. It casts light over the whole level in the direction you wish.Wish you luck and thanks for sharing this great level! :)
