Maneuverability trumps all in combat.

Instead of traditional symmetrical balancing or forward and upward prioritized thrusters, the Death-Machine favors backwards and downwards thrusting. This makes the Death-Machine excel at dodging maneuvers, as it can quickly reverse movement and duck under missles or hide behind terrain with an effortless downwards dodge.
