Saab JAS 39 Gripen NG [UPDATED]

The Saab JAS 39 Gripen is a light single-engine multirole fighter aircraft manufactured by the Swedish aerospace company Saab. It was designed to replace the Saab 35 Draken and 37 Viggen in the Swedish Air Force.

A lot of people here thought that instead of Su-35, the Gripen were the ideal choices for Indonesian Air Force especially after Swedish defence vendor Saab was just unveiled the first of three JAS-39E Gripen Next Generation (NG) multi-role fighters at its Linköping site this week.

The Gripen has a delta wing and canard configuration with relaxed stability design and fly-by-wire flight controls. This aircraft is small, agile, has low block count, and its performance on my computer are significantly better than my last aircraft 70%-80% compared to 30%-50%. Too bad it was too long to fit in the bounding box.

Since it was multirole, I equipped it with two missile that can hit air target, four dumb-bombs to decimate ground area, and a cannon.
