Twilight hour strikes a neutral balance between light & dark themes, really good sensation of wide open space, nice "semi-abstract" style, and rendered at a high enough resolution to hide individual pixels.
Also, on a personal note, I find it wonderfully relaxing to look at because it brings back fond memories of warm summer nights at the lake when I was a child.
Most users might not spend too much time in the SteamVR dashboard, but this is a very nice place to be when not in-game. I strongly believe this should be included among the default set of SteamVR backgrounds. I am extremely grateful to have stumbled upon this.
Thank you so very much!
I have a Surface Pro tablet, so I frequently use (one of) my PCs while roaming around a room with only two hands, something that the Vive can do perfectly. Imagine if Virtual Desktop had an option to give a room-scale environment with a large tablet screen that is actually your PC desktop, where you move it around with one hand while interacting as a 'mouse laser pointer' from your other hand. It would be amazing if they did that instead of a ridgid fixed screen that you cannot interact with in a touch-controller fasion. Wow sorry about the rant
[semi-pro tip: Using this in conjunction with the tree house/stand environment made by Ozo is near perfection]
